I just found this rather interesting article in Yoga Journal on yoga for cyclists. It goes into how to properly fit your bike, something that I frequently find myself struggling with in class. There is also a write up on stretches for your hip flexors, which is one of the muscles that cycling really tightens, that is also pretty good.

I am grouchy with the gym because it being a new year, they’ve canceled the spin class on Wednesdays that I’ve been doing for over a year now. That means that since I’ve arranged my world to be able to attend that class, I’m essentially screwed. It looks like the only classes I can now attend are all on back to back days, Friday - Monday. Not ideal for me - I like to spread my workout through the week to keep me sane. But I guess I’ll just have to suck it up or pick a new hobby.

I still haven’t decided if the Ride for the Roses is my official New Year’s resolution. Buying a [serious] bike is sooo expensive, even used.
