About

Lack of planning on your part doesn’t consitute an emergency on my part.

Happy Christmas to you!

Absoultely NOTHING in London was open yesterday, so it was nice and slow. We hung around the house all day and it felt GREAT.

Now things don’t feel so great, because I woke up at 4:30 this morning with a fever and all the associated aches and pains, with a sore throat to boot. Blech. So I’m hanging out at the flat again today. Some of the troops are headed to Mme. Tussaud’s Wax Museum, and then to the London Dungeon (it is Boxing Day, so all the nationally-run stuff is closed). So it isn’t a bad day for me to be sick - neither of those is really my thing. Do I really need to spend several hours seeing wax replicas of the Spice Girls? Or agnoized figures on the Rack?

Mom got us lots of bridge stuff for Christmas, and really wants to teach Steve and I to play. I feel bad that we didn’t do it yesterday. I think she was disappointed. But that’s okay - we will have some time today, I think. It will be a fun thing to learn - yay for cheapie entertainment!
