I clap for faeries.

So on my way out of La Madeline, I picked up a jar of their Tomato-Basil Soup to take a peek at the nutritional information on the back. I didn’t scan all of it, because one thing struck me immediately. Apparently, 1 CUP (measuring cup, not the cup they serve it in) of TBS contains 105% of your recommended daily saturated fat intake. Yes, saturated fat - the stuff we’re all supposed to avoid like the plague because it causes high cholesterol and heart disease and obesity and all that other nasty nasty stuff. Ew ew ew ew. One more example of how vegeterian does not always equate to healthy.

(And yes, you can guess what I had just had for lunch. Never, ever again. I feel really gross.)

(And yes, the entry title was indeed an obscure reference to Chess.)
