My sister was nominted for yet another B. Iden Payne Award for her performance in children’s theatre in Austin. I am so proud of her.

So if you are a member of ACoT, don’t forget to vote! I was pleased to see that Jo Beth Henderson got a nod for hOle, although I was sorry the show as a whole (uh) wasn’t better represented. It was the most orginial, creative, and stunning performance piece that I have seen in a long time. A really fresh concept and execution. I mean really, how many shows have you seen where they literally burn the set down at the end? Kudos to The Vortex.

At least Artaud got a few nods, which was also both weird and excellent.
