I took a gander at the new spiderman trailer today. They appear to be packing a LOT of character development into this movie. I’ll be interested to see if it works or if it feels rushed. I think it is a cool concept to address the practical difficulties of being a crime-fiighting superhero. It doesn’t exactly pay the rent, after all. I’m looking forward to the flick.
And, lest I fall down on my job, I have watched the new Prisoner of Azkaban trailer umpteen million times thus far. The entire Harry Potter Costuming world is throwing themselves hungrily into discerning all the changes that have been made to the uniforms for the third installment. After all, if we never changed the outfits, we’d eventually run out of merchandising opportunities, now wouldn’t we?
Still the trailer whets the appetite. I can’t wait. I was leery about the choice of Emma Thompson as Professor Trelawny, as much as I adore the actress. But the trailer has assuaged my fears. I have been hearing mutterings that the dementors look too much like ringwraiths … but then, in my brain they looked about the same before I had ever seen either on film, so I’m not disturbed by it …
