So I really want to be able to make this sweater because it is waaaay cute. I should branch out from harry potter scarves. But tube scarves are pretty mindless, and they’re good for just practicing and getting faster and blah blah blah. Besides, they’re cute. And they’re easy. And while this qualifies as cute, I don’t think it qualifies as easy …

Really ready for the weekend. The last one basically didn’t happen. Lots of prep for my party this weekend so that I don’t have to do everything on Saturday.

Steve and I bought our first Christmas tree on Sunday! How horribly domestic of us. Unfortunately, it is making me sneeze furiously. But sooo pretty that it’s worth it. Mostly. We are going to decorate it tonight, and I may have to let Steve do lights and tinsel so that I don’t have to bury my nose in it. Steve and I are both lights-in people, instead of lights-out people (ie, we like the lights to be set waaay back and twinkle out through the branches, rather than be set further out towards the tips of the branches). I think I asked this question the very first Christmas we were dating. It is one of my major criteria. I guess that makes me pretty easy to please. No really. Just ask anyone …
