What if the hokey-pokey really is what it’s all about?

Goodness, I haven’t posted anything in a while. Work is keeping me very busy, and it is the only time I am on the computer these days ….

I had a wonderful weekend this weekend! This is one of my favorite times of year in Austin. The weather is glorious, and all the festivals happen. :) Speaking of which, Eeyore’s Birthday is the 28th — mark your calendars.

Friday night, I saw Blow. I can’t really stomach that much misery in two hours and change. But if you’re into drug movies, I suppose it’s interesting. Saturday I went to yoga class. I was strangely proud of myself, since my partners in crime were both down for the count. After that, I went to Dana’s Easter Egg Party, then changed and saw Jouet at ZACH Saturday night. It was really unique. Creative story — if you get the chance to see it, I recommend it. I also saw my car there. Bumblebee. It gave me a warm fuzzy feeling. Yay!

Sunday I slept way too late, had lunch with my parents, and hit the Austin Fine Arts Festival downtown. I bought art! I’m sure I shouldn’t have, but I couldn’t resist the temptation. I had never seen anything like it. Neat stuff. The whole festival was neat. Then I went to All Saints for the Palm Sunday service, where Brad preached his second ever sermon. He was wonderful. I am so glad he has been called to this. It gives me faith that being called actually happens to normal people, not just saints and crusaders and the like. Dinner was at Carlos ‘n’ Charlies, out on the lake. It’s funny — I always forget that I live only 20 minutes from such a beautiful lake. I should go more often. Water soothes me like nothing else. I guess it’s the Pisces in me. Or something.
